The computer architecture lab at LSU focuses on high performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and security issues in computer design from small scale mobile platforms to huge scale data centers. The lab has a few novel workstations and servers, as well as allocations to use LONI supercomputers. Our recent research projects include architecture and software design for computer systems resilient to transient and permanent faults, performance and power modeling for computer systems and GPUs, heterogeneous multi-core scheduling, and energy efficient data center design. Currently, there are five PhD students who are holding diversified fellowships and internships from industry and national labs. Alumni graduated from this lab received job offers from leading industrial companies for their first employments.
