Understanding the cost of your education and how to finance it
If you plan to attend LSU as an F-1 or J-1 student, it is critical that you fully understand how much it will cost and how you will pay for it.
International Services (ISO) can help you determine your tuition and estimated expenses, and provide information about some of your financial aid options—including scholarships, loans, and non-LSU sources of funding.
Undergraduate Expenses
If you plan to earn a bachelor’s degree at LSU, your tuition and fees will depend on when you begin your studies and how many credit hours you take.
Graduate Expenses
Tuition and fees vary for the different graduate and professional programs offered at LSU. You will need to verify if your program does not fall under the standard graduate tuition rate.
Required Financial Documentation
To start the process for a visa, you are required to submit documents to ISO proving you have the financial means to support yourself for a full academic year, including tuition, fees, and living expenses.
