Military & Veteran Student Services
The William A. Brookshire Military & Veterans Student Center opened on January 31, 2018. The center includes the following spaces:
- computer lab and printer
- conference room and library
- kitchenette
- large multipurpose room with audiovisual equipment
- outdoor patio with tables and chairs
- reception lounge
- restrooms
- staff offices
- shower
- small study room
Staff in the center provide a number of services to veterans, service members, dependents, and survivors (VSDS). These services include:

outreach to the VSDS population in Louisiana and the Southeast

assisting prospective VSDS students with the admissions process

advising VSDS students on benefits and options

providing campus tours to VSDS students and their families

acting as a liaison between VSDS students and university departments
