Service & Operations
Service and Operations is responsible for Service Management, Service Architecture, Portfolio Management Office (PMO), Unified Endpoint Configuration Management (UECM), ITS Business Office, and Talent Management. Service Management offers customer support solutions to the LSU community for the catalog of services offered by ITS. The ITS Service Desk, GROK Knowledge Base, Digital Media Services, and ITS Communications are all maintained by Service Management. Service Architecture manages the campus data centers and the Network Operations Center (NOC) which provides 24/7/365 monitoring and security of critical university systems. The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) established a standard project management practice for IT modernization. The PMO oversees IT project and purchase needs as well as IT Governance. UECM delivers enterprise grade technology services, including operating system deployment, software delivery, and desktop operational support.
