LSU Geology Summer Camp

Bust out your magnifying glass and come along to help solve the mysteries of geological history. Kids will get a chance to learn about the history of geology by participating in experiments that replicate major milestones in the development of modern geologic thought.

This camp is a free, two-day summer camp open to 4th - 8th graders. Space is limited so register early before spots fill up.

Who's eligible to participate? Students in 4th and 8th grade (during 2023-2024 school year)

Capacity: 40 participants

Dates: Thursday, June 20, 2024 - Friday, June 21, 2024

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Early drop off: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.;
Late pick up: 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location: LSU Howe-Russell Geoscience Complex
